Public talks titled “ Rural Development “  organized by Information and Public Relations Department were held at Kauksar village, Phaungpyin Township yesterday morning with opening speeches by Sagaing Region Hluttaw representative U Khin Maung Tun and Administrator of the Township GAD U Khin Maung Myint.

The training courses for disabled people titled “Welcome diversity through building harmonious society” will be jointly opened by the Myanmar Federation of Persons with Disabilities and iSchool-Myanmar in Mandalay, according to project manager from iSchool-Myanmar U Ye Win.

A crime reduction talk was conducted by policemen from a local police station at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Mongyu Town, Eastern Shan State this morning.

They had in-depth discussions on a wide range of issues, including relocating the British Embassy in Yangon to Nay Pyi Taw, strengthening bilateral relations between Myanmar and Britain, and providing developmental aid to Myanmar by Britain. The two sides also exchanged views on challenges faced by Myanmar in its transition period and the Rakhine issue.
