Courses for disabled people to take place in Mandalay

The training courses for disabled people titled “Welcome diversity through building harmonious society” will be jointly opened by the Myanmar Federation of Persons with Disabilities and iSchool-Myanmar in Mandalay, according to project manager from iSchool-Myanmar U Ye Win.


It is projected to open ten courses in ten townships in Mandalay Region and two townships were selected for the courses. The courses will be launched at Community Centers in Pyigyidagun and Chanmyathazi Townships from 21 to 31 January with 30 trainees. 


Similar courses will be opened at the schools for the blind in Pyin Oo Lwin and Meiktila Townships. The course covers (1) rights for the disabled, rights for gender equality and other cultures, (2) engage Buddhism, (3) Myanmar History and Pyidaungsu’s stance and (4) current building of harmonious society, he added.
