Concrete road opened to mark 76th Anniversary of Independence Day in Natmauk Twsp.

A concrete road was inaugurated to mark 76th Anniversary of Independence Day to the public on the Nadi Road in Aung San Ward in the town of Natmauk, Magway Region this morning.

During the ceremony, Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Thant Sin delivered an opening speech. Next, executive officer of the Township Development Committee U Nay Man discussed matters relating to the construction works of the concrete road and gave words of encouragement to the community leaders.

Afterwards, Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Thant Sin, member-1 of the Township Administration Council Major Ye Naing Soe, Chairman of the Township Development Committee U Kyaw Maung and executive officer of the Township Development Committee U Nay Man cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the road.

The concrete paving work of road measuring 3118 ft. long including the road section 1138 ft. long completed in 2019-2020 fiscal year, the road section measuring 770 ft. long completed in 2022-2023 FY and the road section which is 1210 ft. long completed in 2023-2024 fiscal year, was completed 100 percent. Moreover, a total of 13 bridges and a cutter which is 2987 ft. long were also constructed with the union budget in the Town. In addition, other roads and drains will be constructed beside the concrete road in 2024-2025 FY, according to the Township Development Committee.—U Hla Win(Township IPRD)
