A fire broke out at the house No. 277 B on Sinsa Road in Dukadaung Ward of Myitkyina Township, Kachin State at about 2:00 pm yesterday due to the overheated electric kettle, according to the Township Fire Services Department.

A fire broke out at the house due to overheated kettle and spread to nearby house and destroyed two houses, according to an official from the Township Department of Fire Services.
