The local government reportedly allowed the hoteliers to reopen 20 hotels and one guesthouse in Bagan-NyaungU ancient cultural region in Mandalay that were once closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, said U Win Aung, Deputy Director of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism.
Myanmar’s exports of natural gas over the past eight months of the current financial year amounted to US$1.8 billion, a decrease of about $400 million compared with the corresponding period of 2018-2019 FY, according to the Commerce Ministry.
Myanmar’s exports of agricultural products between 1 October and 12 June in the current financial year 2019-2020 increased to over US$2.9 billion from $2.4 billion in the corresponding period of the 2018-2019 FY, according to the trade figures released by the Ministry of Commerce.
