A ceremony to upgrade a Basic Education Middle School (Branch) to a BEMS was held in the town of Shweku, Kachin State this morning. 

On the occasion, MP U Zarni Min of Pyithu Hluttaw, the Township Public Health Officer Dr. Sai Tu, Deputy Township Education Officer, Head of the No.2 BEHS and Chairman of the township NLD party formally opened the school.

Next, MP of Pyithu Hluttaw gave remarks and Deputy Township Education Officer clarified why the school was upgraded.

Next, officials presented commemorative flags to the guests and provided schoolchildren with stationery donated at the school enrollment day.
