U Aung Kyaw Moe, the head coach of the Yadanarbon F.C., has been named the Myanmar National League coach of the month for April.
Under U Aung Kyaw Moe’s guidance, Yadanarbon has won each and every game in April to retain its first place in the stand-ing table.
A prize-giving ceremony was held yesterday in Yangon, during which the Manager of the Myanmar Posts and Telecommu-nications (MPT) awarded a cash prize of K100,000 to the Yadanar-bon head coach.
While U Aung Kyaw Moe was also named the coach of the month in February, this is the first time he has received a prize in this season of the nation-al league.
U Aung Kyaw Moe is also re-sponsible for Yadanarbon’s per-formance in the General Aung San Shield. The team beat three-time champions Ayeyawady in the second round knockout re-cently. U Aung Kyaw Moe played professionally for the Yadanar-bon F.C. He has played in the Myanmar National League as well as on the national team as a midfielder. He was adjudged the ‘Man of the Match’ in the MNL Cup Grand Royal 2009. —Lynn Thit (Tgi)
