The Rural Development Department in Mindon Township, Magway Region, held the 10th Emerald Green Village Development Project fund disbursement ceremony in Say Do Village on July 27.
During the ceremony, officials explained the project's objectives, loan terms, interest rates, and repayment regulations before distributing K43.4 million in loans to 67 beneficiaries. The recipients included three agricultural entrepreneurs, 63 livestock breeders, and one trader.
The Emerald Green Village Development Project aims to support rural livelihoods by providing low-interest loans for income-generating activities.— Naw Lu
