COMMISSION Member Dr Swe Swe Aung of the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission, along with Deputy Director-General Dr Khine Khine Win, Directors U Thura Kyaw and U Zeyar Linn met the delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), led by Protection Coordinator Mr Sebastien Bole Besancon. The meeting took place at the Commission’s Call Room yesterday.
The discussions were mainly focused on the Commission’s ongoing activities relating to the promotion and protection of human rights, the ICRC operations, and potential areas of cooperation between the two institutions. — MNHRC
