THE Myanmar Pho­tographic Society has issued an invitation to participate in its 2026 quarterly photography competitions.

The association will hold its regular pho­tography competitions, which are scheduled to take place four times throughout the year. At the end of the year, scores will be tallied to award first, second, and third prizes, along with three consolation prizes.

These awards con­tribute toward the asso­ciation’s photography art titles. Any member of the association is eligible to enter, and those who are not yet members may apply for membership to participate. Competi­tion entries must be sub­mitted via email in 8x12 inch, 300 dpi format to mps1950domain@gmail. com.

Submission catego­ries and deadlines are: First Quarter (Complet­ed) — Colour category: Landscape; Black & White category: Por­trait; Second Quarter: Deadline is 30 June — Colour: Flowers; Black & White: Daily Life; Third Quarter: Deadline is 30 September — Colour: Ethnic; Black & White: Human and Animal; Fourth Quarter: Dead­line is 31 December — Colour: Festival; Black & White: Human and Work.
