THE co-chairs’ meeting of the Joint Working Group on Co­operation between Myanmar and the Eurasian Economic Commission was held yester­day. Led by the co-chairs – U Aung Kyaw Hoe, Union Min­ister for National Planning, Investment, and Foreign Economic Relations, and Mr Danilar Imanaliev, Minister for Integration and Macro­economics of the Eurasian Economic Commission – the two sides discussed matters regarding the convening of the third meeting of the Joint Working Group on Coopera­tion and the development of cooperation within the ASEAN framework.

The meeting was also at­tended by Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn, along with members of the Myanmar delegation and officials from the Eurasian Economic Com­mission. — MNA/TH
