Kyaukse, June 4

A ceremony to award educational assistance grants to the children of employees of the Kyaukse Township General Administration Department for the 2026–2027 academic year was held yesterday morning at the meeting hall of the Township General Administration Department in Kyaukse, Mandalay Region.

At the ceremony, Township Administrator U Htaik Htaik Zaw delivered the opening remarks. He, together with Daw Hnin Yu Thin, Chairperson of the Township Family Unity and Discipline Maintenance Committee, presented educational assistance grants to a total of 63 employees' children.

The recipients included nine university students who received K100,000 each, eight high school students who received K70,000 each, 13 middle school students who received K50,000 each, and 33 primary school students who received K30,000 each.—Thet Maung (Kyaukse)
