A ceremony to warmly welcome back the triumphant frontline Tatmadaw members who courageously served duties in Homein region and its vicinity areas was held at the local battalion in Mongkai in Shan State (South), yesterday.
Officials from the Central Eastern Command, departmental officials, teachers, military officers, other ranks and locals welcomed back returning soldiers with heartfelt enthusiasm. They also welcomed home victorious Tatmadaw members with sprigs of Eugenia and presented the cash prizes to the returnees. The event included traditional dance and music performances. — MNA/KTZH
