TATMADAW conducts Counter-Terrorism Operations in certain villages, townships, and regions temporarily controlled by terrorists to ensure peaceful living conditions for the public and to promote socioeconomic development. As a result of these operations, the areas of Falam, Tiddim, and Tonzang in Chin State have been fully retaken. In compliance with the guidance of the Head of State, the relevant authorities are working together with residents to carry out rehabilitation and reconstruction activities.

Construction materials, including cement, iron sheets and nails, were transported by Tatmadaw aircraft from Mandalay, while relief supplies, including household goods, kitchen utensils and personal hygiene items, were sent from Nay Pyi Taw for residents returning to their homes on 25 May.

Moreover, the construction materials such as cement, iron sheets and nails, and household commodities provided by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, which are currently in Kalay, were transported to Falam from Kalay by vehicles yesterday morning, and the materials arrived in Falam in the evening.

Upon arrival, the transported goods were received by responsible officials and will be further distributed directly to residents. Remaining goods will continue to be delivered to other towns, and the government will continue to provide necessary assistance systematically based on regional needs. — MNA/KTZH
