VICE-PRESIDENT of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Nan Ni Ni Aye received Ms Ma Jia, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, at the Presidential Palace Reception Hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
They cordially and openly exchanged views on further strengthening diplomatic relations and building a shared future between Myanmar and China, enhancing cooperation in the education and health sectors, collaborating on capacity-building training programmes for civil servants and youth, and further promoting the advancement of women.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw, relevant officials, and representatives from the Chinese Embassy to Myanmar. — MNA/TH
