THE Shwedaung Township Ru­ral Development Department, under the Ministry of Cooper­atives and Rural Development, disbursed Mya Sein Yaung pro­ject revolving funds totalling K44.3 million to residents at Inpingon Village in Shwedaung Township, Bago Region, yester­day morning.

 

The project aims to enable rural residents to expand their family income-generating ac­tivities and implement village development tasks using the ac­cumulated interest funds. Dur­ing the ceremony, Shwedaung Township Rural Development Department Head U Aung Khaing Zaw explained the core objectives of the disbursement of the Mya Sein Yaung project.

 

Subsequently, project of­ficers and staff clarified the pro­ject guidelines, interest rates, repayment periods, and regula­tions. They then transferred the revolving fund of K44.3 million to the members of the village project committees.

 

Under the field supervision of the Shwedaung Township Rural Development Depart­ment, the project committee members then distributed funds at low interest rates di­rectly to 110 villagers from In­pingon and Myaukgon villages who will engage in agriculture, livestock breeding, and trading. — Karyan Cho
