            With the aim of improving convenience for communication and transportation, the Tangyan Township Department of Rural Development is implementing a concrete road construction project in Homann village in Tangyan Township, Shan State (North). On 15 May, officials from the Township Department inspected the construction site.

            During the inspection tour, the officials and responsible people observed the road measuring 270 ft in length, 12 ft in width and six inches in thickness. They then urged the community leaders and local residents to maintain the road and to meet the set standards within 100-Day plan.

            The project is being conducted with K 15 million of VDP and K 1.407 million in public contributions under the close supervision of departmental officials starting from second week of May.
