DEFENDING champions Shan United thrashed Yamanya United 5-0 in a 2025-2026 Myanmar National League (MNL) match on 8 March in Taunggyi, extending their league unbeaten run to 98 matches. The victory moved Shan United closer to securing their seventh MNL title with two matches remaining. Their unbeaten streak, which began in the 2020 season could reach 100 matches if they avoid defeat in the remaining fixtures.
Goals from Bakayoko, Ye Yint Aung, Khun Kyaw Zin Hein and a brace by Sa Aung Pyae Ko sealed the win as Shan United maintained their lead at the top of the table with 52 points. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
