Team Myanmar to compete in 2nd round of U-20 Women’s Asian Cup 2024 Qualifiers in June

The second round of the U-20 Women’s Asian Cup 2024 Qualifiers, in which the Myanmar U-20 women’s team is allowed to compete, will continue in June.

 

After the first round qualifier was held from 8 to 12 March, the eight teams that qualified for the sec­ond round are emerging.

 

The first- round qualifier was divided into eight groups, and only the top eight teams from each group qualified for the second round.

 

The Myanmar team participated in Group G and defeated the Cambodian team 2-0, and Malaysia 3-1, and finished first in the group with six points and qualified for the second round.

 

China team from Group A, Nepal team from Group B, Australia team from Group C, Lebanon team from G r o u p D, Chinese Tai­pei from Group E, Viet Nam team from Group F, Myan­mar team from Group G, and Iran Team from Group H won first places in their groups.

 

Thailand, the top ASEAN team, was eliminated from the group stage.

 

The eight winners from the first-round qualifiers will be divided into two groups of four for the second-round qualifiers, and the top two teams will qualify for the next stage.
