Myanmar beat Thai Club Chonburi FC 4-1 in friendly match

The preliminary Myanmar national team, which is training in Thailand, played an international warm-up match against Chonburi, which won second place in the Thai League, at 6:00 pm local time on 29 November, and won by 4-1.

 

In the warm-up match, which was played at the Chonburi team’s home ground, the preliminary Myan­mar national team had 11 players in the first half, and another 11 play­ers competed with a dif­ferent starting line-up in the second half. The Chon­buri team also featured de­fender Zaw Min Tun, who re­cently retired from the national team, and League (1) players.

 

In the 45th minute of the game, Win N a i n g Tun scored a goal past t h e goalkeeper through a coun­ter-attack. In the f i r s t half, Myanmar w o n against Chon­buri 1-0.

 

Naing Zin Htet scored the second goal at 51 minutes for team Myanmar but Chonburi found their lone goal at 66 minutes.

 

Next, Lin Htet Soe netted the third goal at 85 minutes, Yan Kyaw Htwe got the fourth at 88 minutes and Myanmar secured a big 4-1 win over Thai Club Chonburi at the final whistle. —GNLM
