109 students aged five and above receive first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Shanywarthit sub- Township Twsp.

As of June 16, a total of 109 students aged between five and 12 from Basic Education Schools have been vaccinated against their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Shanywarthit sub-Township, Kayin State.

 

Under the leadership of the Township Administer U Naing Win Aung, healthcare workers from Rural Health Department and volunteers gave the vaccine to the students on a door to door basis in the sub-Township.

 

In addition, medical workers vaccinated 20 children aged between 12 and 18 those who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 vaccine in Shanywarthit sub-Township this morning. Medical workers continue to give the vaccine to the remaining people in the sub-Township.—Zin Lay(IPRD)
