The fire broke out at the house located on Myathirit Road in Myoma Ward in Natmauk Township of Magway Region at about 11:20 pm yesterday.
The fire started from an overheated refrigerator in the house and completely destroyed the house, inflicting the estimated loss of K 750000.
Firefighters from the Township department of Fire Service Department rushed to the incident scene to put out the fire in collaboration with the villagers using three fire engines and two water tankers, and the blaze was brought under control at 11:35 pm and totally extinguished at 11:40 pm.
