No immediate reports of damages or casualties were available following a slight earthquake which was recorded this morning, according to a source from the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH).
An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter inside Myanmar jolted about 9 miles northwest of Thabeikkyin, Mandalay Region. It was recorded at 7:57 a.m. today at a latitude of 22.92°N, and longitude of 95.88°E, with a depth of five kilometers and about 31 miles southeast of the Kanbalu seismological observatory, the DMH announced.
