Phone Myint Kyaw wins Piston Open 8 Ball Championship

Myanmar’s 8 Ball and 9 Ball professional player Phone Myint Kyaw (alias) Ko Ar Ti won the Ai Ke Hotel — Piston Open 8 Ball Championship in Si Hong, China by beating women Chinese 8 Ball Champion Lui Xia Zhi in the final game of the tourney on 3 January 2021.
In the final, Phone Myint Kyaw started the game full of concentration and his efforts proved the big 10-4 win over Lui Xia Zhi.
In the round of 16, Phone Myint Kyaw beat Chinese player Bao Zhi Chao.
Next in the Quarterfinal or Round of 8, the Myanmar player defeated another Chinese player Ma Yang by 10-5.
In the semifinal, Phone Myint Kyaw made a win over Zheng Xiao Huai by 10-7 to reach the final.
Upon his sweet victory, the 26-year-old Myanmar professional 8 Ball player has expressed his favourite memories along with the tourney.
“In the new year 2021, this month’s competition has started with the first prize. This time, I did not lose in the final. In the semifinals, I defeated the Chinese national team player by 10:7, and in the final, I played against Chinese women’s player in the final.
“Thank you very much for your support and love you all my beloved fans from Myanmar,” said Phone Myint Kyaw.
