FOR a postgraduate di­ploma in English (PGDip. Eng) course offered at the Yangon University of Education, online applica­tions are now open from 17 June.

 

Any graduate under 60 years old is eligible to apply; priority will be giv­en to teachers and staff of the Ministry of Educa­tion. For the government staff, the respective de­partment head’s approval is required.

 

It is classified accord­ing to 5 levels: elementary, pre-intermediate, inter­mediate, upper interme­diate and advanced. Each level will last 10 weeks. The diploma will be awarded after the com­pletion of all five levels. The fee is K80,000 for each level.

 

It will begin on 22 June and run from 7 am to 9 am on Monday, Wednes­day and Friday, or Satur­day and Sunday from 9 am to 12 pm, or from 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday, so applicants can choose a preferred time.

 

Interested applicants can submit an online ap­plication at lms.yuoe.edu. mm starting from 9 am, and applications will be accepted until the expect­ed capacity is full. There is an exclusive section for MoE staff only in the ap­plication form.

 

The list of online booking passes will be announced on www.yuoe. edu.mm, and they will need to enrol at the aca­demic affairs department along with the original documents. — TWA/ZS
