THE grand trading value of the eight listed companies on the Yangon Stock Exchange (YSX) exceeded K513 million with 165,452 shares in January 2025, according to the monthly report released by the exchange.
At present, shares of eight listed companies — First Myanmar Investment (FMI), Myanmar Thilawa SEZ Holdings (MTSH), Myanmar Citizens Bank (MCB), First Private Bank (FPB), TMH Telecom Public Co Ltd (TMH), the Ever Flow River Group Public Co Ltd (EFR), Amata Holding Public Co Ltd (AMATA) and Myanmar Agro Exchange Public Co Ltd (MAEX) are traded in the security market.
FMI topped the trading with 19,912 shares worth K159.8 million, followed by 62,487 shares of FPB worth over K117.27 million, 35,848 shares of MTSH worth over K111.118 million, 9,324 shares of AMATA worth over K37.73 million, 22,533 shares of EFR worth K37.28 million, 9,744 shares of MAEX worth over $31 million, 5,337 shares of TMH worth over K17.127 million and 267 shares of MCB worth over K2.239 million respectively last month.
The trading value in December 2024 was over K466 million with 132,866 shares. Trading value in January is up by K47 million with 32,500 more shares traded. — NN/KK
