A ceremony to form the township youth affairs committee and to introduce the township youth affairs policy to local youths was held at the meeting room of Minhla township General Administration Department in the town of Minhla, Bago region yesterday.
First, the township Development Committee Chairman U Khin Tun reported matters relating to youth affairs. Then, Bago Region Youth Affairs Committee secretary U Than Htike Aung gave a presentation on Myanmar youth affairs policy and functions of the region youth affairs committee.
After officials responding to questions raised by the attendees, the township youth affairs committee was set up with eight youth members aged between 15 and 35.—Pauksa (Minhla)
