YANGON United FC still leads the U21 Youth League of the Myanmar National League by winning its opponent in the 4th fixture on 19 May.

 

At the stadium in Dagon Myothit (South) Township, Yangon United beat Yadanabon FC 2-1. Yangon United con­tinues to lead the standings with four consecutive victories. In six minutes of the match, Htoo Wanna scored the opening goal for Yangon United. Howev­er, in 35 minutes, Yan Naing Phyo equal­ized for Yadanabon FC. The remainder of the match was tightly contested, but in 66 minutes, Min Thant Bo scored the winning goal for Yangon United.

 

 

At Bahan’s artificial turf stadium, ISPE thrashed Dagon Port with a 3-1 win. It was the third loss of Dagon Port. Winning goals for ISPE came from Saw Aung Myo Oo in 13 and 39 minutes and Sit Nyein Chan in 86 minutes, while Zaw Paing scored a single goal for Dagon Port in 55 minutes. At Padonma Stadi­um, Junior Lions crushed Maha United 4-0 with a hat-trick of Thaw Zin Ko in 16, 81 and 85 minutes and a late goal from Khun Maung Lone in 90+1 minutes.

 

The last matches of the fourth fixture will take place on 20 May. Da­gon Star United will meet with Ra­khine United at Padonma Stadium, while Thitsa Arman will play against Ayeyawady United at the stadium in Dagon Myothit (South) Township. — Ko Nyi Lay/TTA
