Chief Minister of Yangon Region U Phyo Min Thein attended an opening of a new bridge named “Thakhin Phoe Hla Gyi” in Ward-14, South Okkalapa Township in Yangon this morning.
Present on the occasion were the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative for South Okkalapa Constituency Dr. Saw Naing, Regional Lawmakers Daw Thit Thit Myint and U Moe Myint, Township Administrator U Nyein Chan Aung and invited guests. At the ceremony, Regional MP U Moe Myint elaborated on emergence and completion of the bridge. Next, the chief minister unveiled the bridge by cutting a ceremonial ribbon and strolled along it.
The facility measuring 110 ft. in length and 18 ft. in width was built with the funds in the fiscal year 2018-2019.—Nay Htet Aung
