Kyaukpyu, 5 January
A ceremony to wrap up a vocational electrical wiring course, organized by the Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, was held at the Dhamayone in Kunbwe Village, Kyaukpyu Township, Rakine State yesterday.
At the event, an official from the township DRD clarified the purpose of the course and urged the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income for their families. This was followed by the presentation of completion certificates to the trainees by the township Administrator and course instructor.
The 21-day training course which ran from December 16 to January 5 was attended by 26 trainees from villages in Zinchaung village-track in Kyaukpyu Township, Rakhine State.—Kan Htun(Sittwe)
