Tachilek, 9 February
A Thailand citizen was killed in a gun shooting on the road close to 1G1 hotel in San Sai-b ward in Tachilek, Shan State (East) yesterday night.
At about 9 pm on 8 February, Mr. Wuttichai Gobua, a singer also known as Lay, 26, left his home in San Sai-b ward in Tachilek in response to a phone call to collect money from an unidentified man. Mr. Wuttichai Gobua, having not returned home, his wife phoned him but no response received. This prompted the police to make a search of him who was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds, lying in supine by the right side of his car on the road near 1G1 hotel.
The search is ongoing to arrest the unidentified killer who is still at large.—Myintmo (Tachilek)
