Border trade between Myanmar and Bangladesh reached US$9.88 million, as of 13 December in the fiscal year 2019-20, according to a report from Myanmar’s Ministry of Commerce.
Myanmar earned nearly US$200 million from export of 690,000 tons of rice and broken rice in two months (from 1 October to 6 December) of this fiscal year, said an official from the Ministry of Commerce.
Myanmar exported rubber worth US$40 million over the last two months of the current financial year, a sharp drop of $5 million compared with the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
