Police boost security in Hpa-an ahead of Thingyan

In an attempt to ensure safety of the local people and reduce crimes during the water throwing festival (Thingyan), local police beefed up law enforcement activities in Hpa-an, the capital city of Kayin State under the close supervision of the district police force chief.

3200 feet-long concrete road nearly completed

The construction of a 3000-foot concrete road section of 3200-foot long Ponnami road linking ward-88 to ward-81, Dagon Myothit ( Seikkan) Township, eastern district, Yangon region, was completed on 2 April. The road construction was funded by the Yangon region government.
