THANAKA market is sluggish amid the COVID-19 crisis and on the back of weak demand during winter, said U Kyaw Moe, chair of Myanmar Thanaka Planters and Producers Association (MTPPA).
A total of 170 Myanmar citizens including seamen who were stranded in foreign countries – 40 from Bangladesh and 130 from the Republic of Korea – because of the suspension of commercial flights returned home by relief flight yesterday.
