Sunflower plantations spanning 1,053 acres in Kyaikmaraw Township, Mon State, are thriving. The oilseed sunflowers were planted through a collaborative initiative between local farmers and departmental staff.

This winter, farmers in the township have planted high-quality sunflower seeds to meet a goal of cultivating 1,053 acres with support from the Township Agriculture Department. To ensure optimal growth, farmers are receiving crucial assistance, including fertilizer, as part of efforts to secure a bountiful harvest.
