            It was targeted to cultivate 45,233 acres of summer paddy in Thayarwaddy Township, Bago Region this year. Farmers have successfully cultivated 45,345 acres of paddy, exceeding its target and the cultivation began in January.

            The Department of Agriculture is jointly cooperating with local farmers to ensure successful summer paddy cultivation, providing inputs and irrigation water and promoting the systematic use of fertilizer.
