PREPARATION Subcommittee on the Fifth National Sports Fes­tival Chairman Deputy Minister for Construction U Win Pe and responsible officials inspected the preparation for the event’s opening and closing ceremonies yesterday afternoon.

 

They reviewed the progress of the seating arrangements for state leaders, backup power sys­tems to ensure uninterrupted electricity during the festival, and the dormitory facilities for referees and juries at the Gold Camp, Cluster-4.

 

The deputy minister empha­sized the importance of meticu­lous preparation to ensure the festival’s success and grandeur. He directed officials to focus on the strength and cleanliness of the flagpoles for raising the na­tional and festival flags and to ensure durability and orderli­ness in seating arrangements for attending leaders. The dep­uty minister urged collaborative efforts to maintain hygiene in the dormitories and to report any needs or issues promptly for timely resolution. — MNA/KZL
