A ceremony to drive stakes for the construction of multi-purpose hall took place in Helung smart village in Mohnyin Township of Kachin State this morning.

Chairman of the District Administration Council U Nyi Nyi Lwin, Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Myat Khaing Ko, staff officer of the District Department of Rural Development U Tun Tun Win, staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development U Htay Myint, village Administrator U Hla Aung and community leaders attended the event and drove the stakes at the designated places of the construction site. Afterwards, officials posed for the documentary photo.

The new multi-purpose hall which is 60 ft. in length, 30 ft. in width and 12 ft. in height will be constructed with Ks. 50 million of DRD’s funds allocated for this fiscal year, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Shwe Mohnyin(IPRD)
