Phekhon, July 18
A ceremony to hand over staff housing for teachers of Lweyin village Basic Education High School was held in the compound of the school in Phekon Township, Shan state (south) yesterday morning. In the event, a member of the village committee for building the housing handed over documents related to the buildings to the headmistress of the school.
The two one-storey buildings were built by the township Rural Development Department spending a fund of K 10 million and K 1.78 million contributed by the village people. Each building measure 24, 18, 9 feet.—Ko Htwe (Phekhon)
