The Sports and Physical Education Department under the Ministry of Health and Sports organized the final match of an inter-club U-21 men’s football contest in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony at the township sports ground in KhinU Township, Sagaing Region on 1 January.
A team named Thein Htike FC was crowned champion after beating a squad called Arkar FC in the final game. Next, officials from the Sports and Physical Education Department presented prizes to players from the champion, runner-up team and the semifinalist teams.
Afterwards, a ward administrator awarded Ks. 100,000 to champion team and Ks. 30000 to the Best Player of the Tourney.— Soe Wai Aung (IPRD)
