SINGAPORE-MYANMAR Vocational Training Institute (SMVTI) is inviting new trainees to join six-month courses in aspects of Hospitality, Tourism, Engineering and Technology subjects, that will be opened starting on 5 May 2025.
Those aged over 17 years who passed matriculation education under the old curriculum or new curriculum or those who passed Government Technical High School are eligible to attend the courses. They will offer courses with advanced laboratories through theoretical and practical approaches to produce skilled trainees.
As the nature of the work in the technical and vocational industry, trainees must be fit enough. Those who will get into the related industry will be prioritized.
They must present an education pass certificate, a citizenship scrutiny card and copy, three passport-sized photos, a criminal clearance certificate and a ward administrator recommendation certificate. SMVIT will offer courses for Hospitality & Tourism (14th batch), Front Office Operations, Housekeeping Operations, Restaurant Operations Courses for Engineering & Technology (13th batch), Electrical Technology, Electronics, Residential Air-Conditioning, Mechatronics (Basic Servicing), and General Welding.
Interested individuals can enrol in the courses at SMVTI located at No 123, Natmauk Street, Bahan Township, Yangon by 14 March. An oral entrance test will be held at 10 am on 26 July. Individuals can enquire about further details through the contact number 09 781002572 during office hours. — NN/KK
