No immediate reports of damages or casualties were available following a slight earthquake which was recorded this afternoon, according to a source from the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH).
An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter inside Myanmar hit about 9 miles south-southwest of Homalin, Sagaing Region. It was recorded at 7:51 a.m. today at a latitude of 24.74°N, and longitude of 94.89°E, with a depth of 17 kilometers and about 52 miles north-northwest of the Tamu seismological observatory, the DMH announced.
