THE pre-match press conference for the 2024-2025 AFC Champions League Group Stage (fixture 4) between Myan­mar’s Shan United and Thailand’s BG Pathum United was held on 21 January at the press conference hall of the Thu­wunna Youth Training Centre.

 

Shan United’s head coach, Hiroki, stated, “We understand the differenc­es between the two teams, but we are determined to give our best for the club. We have thoroughly studied BG Pathum’s foreign players and key play­ers and we are well-prepared. We will play with courage and aim to secure points.”

 

Shan United captain, Nanda Kyaw, added, “Our coach has prepared us thoroughly. By combining his guidance with our efforts, we are ready to play. We have trained hard and have confidence in our abilities.”

 

BG Pathum United head coach, Supachai, commented, “We have the utmost respect for Shan United. We’ve brought all of our key players. Shan United’s players are highly motivated to win, as seen in their matches against PSM and Terengganu. We have analyzed those games and prepared accordingly.”

 

The match between Shan United and BG Pathum United is scheduled for 6:30 pm today at Thuwunna Youth Training Centre. After three match­es, BG Pathum United has earned five points while Shan United is yet to secure a point.
