A ceremony to provide medical supplies to Department of Health in Kunhing Township, Southern Shan State was held at Township People’s Hospital this morning.
Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Lin Htut, State Minister for Bamar Ethnic Affairs Dr. Aung Than Maung, State Minister for Social Affairs Dr. Myo Tun, State Minister for Road and Communication U Khun Ye Htwe, State Minister for Municipal Affairs U Sai Som Chai and Township Medical Officer Dr. Khin Maung Yin and departmental personnel were in attendance.
First, Township Medical Officer clarified the preventive measures being undertaken for the outbreak of COVID-19 and State Chief Minister also guided to the needs of the preventive measures.
Then, the officials handed over medical supplies such as personal protective equipment, gloves, goggles and cash aids to the Township Medical Officer.
Next, the officials also observed the repair of isolation ward and donated K 3.5 million for the repair, according to the Township Information and Public Relations Department.
