Senior General Min Aung Hlaing pays homage to presiding monk of Zay Kone Buddhist Monastery

COMMANDER-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Union Minister for Defence General Mya Tun Oo and Nay Pyi Taw Command Commander Major-General Zaw Myo Tin, yesterday evening, visited the Zay Kone Buddhist Monastery, Pyinmana, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, and paid homage to the Padana Nayaka Sayadaw (Abbot) Abhidhaja Maharattha Guru Bhaddanta Kavisara. 


The Commander-in-Chief paid homage to the Sayadaw and donated a saffron robe and other offertories.


During the visit, the Commander-in-Chief asked about Sayadaw’s health condition and religious matters. 


The Commander-in-Chief also explained the situations in which Tatmadaw is taking responsibility for the State because of the recent election situations in Myanmar.


The Commander-in-Chief also explained the conditions for the restoration of normal social harmony and cultural traditions in Myanmar. 


The Commander-in-Chief also listened to instructions from the Sayadaw, according to the report of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.
