Officials from the Department of Social Welfare made a domiciliary visit to provide social pension to elderly people over 85 years old in Shwepyithar Township, Yangon Region on October 3.
A total of 822 elderly people in 23 wards and four villages in the township were provided with K 24,660,000 of social pension. The Department of Social Welfare is providing social pension to the elderly people over 85 years old across the nation at a rate of K 30,000 per person for three months.
