Most residents in Kabargyi Village, Seikphyu Township are widely engaged in producing handmade bricks and selling them in winter and summer. Some mud, clay and sand are systematically mixed to make handmade bricks. The mixed muds are placed in the sun for three days and made into bricks with the use of molds. Then lots of firewood is used to fire the kilns of the handmade bricks for three days. If workers use either too much fire or less fire, the quality of handmade bricks will be poor and cannot fetch good price, said a local handmade brick-maker.
