Second Pyidaungsu Hluttaw’s 12th regular session holds fourth-day meeting

The fourth-day meeting of the Second Pyidaungsu Hluttaw’s 12th regular session was held at the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw meeting hall yesterday morning.

Reorganization of districts, village tract, town

At the meeting Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat informed the Hluttaw about re-delineate the borders of Taunggyi and Kyaukme districts and abolishing of Laukkai District in Shan State, two villages of Thabyuchaung and Daybrame in Mon State Thaton District Paung Township Yin Nyein (North) Village-tract combined and formed as Thabyuchaung Village-tract, Chin State Haka District Haka Township Surkhua village-tract formed as Surkhua Town with two wards and abolishing of Surkhua village tract and Surkhua village. An announcement was made about Hluttaw putting the matters on record.

Second amendment bill to the Settlement of the Labour Dispute Law

Next Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Joint Bill Committee secretary Dr. Myat Nyana Soe tabled a motion to approve by paragraph the second amendment bill to the Settlement of the Labour Dispute Law. After obtaining the decision of the Hluttaw, Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Speaker announced the Hluttaw’s approval. Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Speaker announced further that the works on the matter will be continued as per Pyidaungsu Hluttaw law and rules and adjourned the meeting.

The fifth-day meeting of the 12th regular session of the Second Pyidaungsu Hluttaw will be held on 9 May it is learnt. — MNA (Translated by Zaw Min)
