Zegon, 15 January
A school family day event for academic year 2019-2020 was celebrated at a basic education high school in Zegon Township, Bago Region on 14 January in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony.
The students opened the funfair by singing a song and Township Education Officer Daw Khin Thin Ye delivered an address. Next, Headmistress Daw Khin Swe Win clarified the purpose of event and follow-up programmes. Afterwards, school board of trustee member U Kan Nnyunt spoke words of thanks.
The prize presentation ceremony followed. The township education officer and concerned officials presented prizes to students who won awards in literature, arts and sport competitions.—Tint Swe (Zegon)
