School facility opens in Phakant Township

An inauguration of a two-storey building was held in a basic education high school (branch) in Pharpyin Village, Phakant Township in Kachin State yesterday morning.

The facility has eight rooms measuring 24 ft. in length and 30 ft. in width was built with Ks. 250 million donated by jade mining companies. The structure consists of office room, computer room, library and prayer hall on the upper floor while all rooms on the ground floor are classrooms.

         

The school building was formally opened by the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Tint Soe, Commander of local military station Col Zaw Myo Win, Police Col Than Htike Soe, the deputy township administrator and the township education officer by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.—Tar Lin Maung (IPRD)
